Halloween Layout

Two posts in one day!  How about that?! :) I finished my Halloween layout this evening and I though I'd share.  I hope you like it.

My camera battery died so I had to take these pictures with my phone.  I think they still turned out pretty good.

I traced freehand around the word party and also around the pumpkins with a thin tipped marker.  I intentionally made them a little crooked as I wanted to make them have a bit of a spooky feel.

The whole layout.  Sorry it's a bit crooked.  You can tell I haven't done this in awhile. LOL  I promise it's straight in real life.

I created the wooden floor using just tan cardstock, a ruler, a marker and some Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
Page 1 - a spooky full moon!  And don't you just love those cute spiders?

Page 2

Cartridges used:
Mini Monsters (green monster, spiders, pumpkin)
George & Basic Shapes (circle for moon - cut in half)
Graphically Speaking (word bubbles)
Create a Critter 2 (cat, witches hat and title)
My Pink Stamper  (Spooky Puns) Yikes and Scaredy Cat!
Technique Tuesday ("Trick or Treat") spider web stamp on photo mats
Technique Tuesday ("Delightful Daisies") leaves

Thanks for stopping by!

Have you heard the big news?

Hi Everyone!  I know it's been awhile since I posted.  I have been crafting and just need to start blogging more.  I'll have some new projects up shortly (including a fun Halloween layout).  I know it's a little late, but I'm sure many are still getting their pictures back.  So maybe you can find something scraplift worthy. ;)

Anyway, the reason for my post today?  Robyn's (a.k.a. My Pink Stamper)  big news!!  I'm so excited for her - and for us!  She will be re-releasing some of her old stamp sets as well as putting out some new ones.  I can't wait.  Even though I'm no longer a part of her design team, I can honestly say I still LOVE her stamps and use them often.  I wish her every success in this new journey.

You can pre-order all the MPS goodies HERE

And in other news, my dear friend Maria has also started a wonderful venture.  You may remember her as the head of the My Pink Stamper Design team.  She has started designing her own stencils and they are awesome!  You can check them out here:

Oh and today is Maria's birthday!!  So, stop on over at her blog and wish her a very happy day! :)

**I hope y'all don't mind this post.  Normally, I try not to advertise too much on here, but I just had to share about these two wonderful ladies.  Neither of them asked me to do this, but I am just so proud of them both and they have been such a blessing in my life.  And I will be forever grateful for that. **

Have a wonderful weekend!!
