Scrapbook Page

It's been a wonderful and crazy busy month so far!  My parents (from Canada) came for a visit!  They stayed a week with us and it was SO nice to see them!!  We also got to celebrate my birthday together so that made it extra special.

I have a super simple scrapbook page to share with you today.  I like it because of that very reason.  Scrapbooking is about documenting our memories...not about creating the "perfect" pages.  I think I need to remember that more and not put so much pressure on myself.  Scrapbooking should be FUN!

The turtle is from the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge.  The journaling block is a Technique Tuesday stamp (which would work perfectly for Project Life as well).

Have a wonderful week! :)

Oh Shelley I'm SO with you....I actually almost avoid scrapping---the whole reason got my Cricut--because I feel my pages aren 't "good enough". SO not the point!! I love your simple layout, the pics and elements are perfect for the page. Great turtle & paper. I hope to see more of your projects soon my crafty friend!!

too cute shelley! and you are so spot on about "the memories" and not the perfection. this is a great page and so glad to see something that shares the "moment" for those of us on the outside looking in! gives me hope of returning to my pages with less stress. inspiration abounds from your blog!
