A new look!

My blog has a new look compliments of my sweet brother, Matt!  I was having trouble finding a header/banner that I liked for my blog.  So, he created one using a photo of one of my cards. Isn't it just the CUTEST?  I just love it and think he did a great job!!

In fact, I loved it so much that I also turned it into a new blog button!  You will find it listed under the "About Me" section on the right hand side.  Please feel free to add my button to your blog if you'd like.

I also made a few other little changes.  I hope everything is easy to read.

Have a great day and I'll be back soon with more projects.

Thanks so much, Matt!! xo

My Pink Designer Post Day - July

I hope everyone is having a nice summer!  So far, we've been having a good one.  It's been very, very hot here in Georgia though - and I could certainly do without the afternoon thunderstorms! (not a fan of those at all! :)

Today, I would like to share with you three cards I made with the awesome new My Pink Stamper Moo-ey Doodles stamp set.  In case you haven't seen it yet, here is a peek. It is part of a great kit sold through Pumpkin Spice.

Isn't it  CAAA-UTE??!  I have had SO MUCH fun playing with this set!

And so, I have a few cards to share with you today.

The first is a shaped card.

This card measures 5". The sunflowers (cut at 1") are from the Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge.  I also added some Stickles to each of the flowers.  The patterned paper is  by Basic Grey.

And my second card:

This is a 5 1/4" square card.  I used my Gypsy to make the floral background (Paper Lace 2 cartridge - cut at 4 3/4").   Inkssentials Paper glaze was added to the flower centers.  And the scallop borders were made using an EK Success border punch.

And last but not least...

This is your standard A2 size card.  I used a Cuttlebug folder for the background. All other cuts were made using the Create a Critter cartridge.  (barn 3 1/2", grass (fit to length) 2", clouds 3 @ 1/4" and 2 @ 1/2").  The little heart in the top center of the barn was made using my favorite punch of all time - it's by EK Success.  I just love that little added detail. :)

A summer day in July....

Two furry members of our family went for their new cool summer haircuts this weekend.  So, I thought it would be fun to share with you.  I think they're pretty darn cute...but then again, maybe I'm a little biased. ;)

Muffin in her favorite spot - on her Daddy's knee.

Bailey sporting a new purple bandana with turtles on it.

And Muffin at the end of our little "photo shoot"....all tuckered out!

Can you believe this sweet little girl sat for over a month at our local Humane Society?  What a blessing she is to our family!

And one quick reminder: Tomorrow is My Pink Designer Post Day over at My Pink Stamper.  We have lots of fun projects made and hope you can find the time to join us. (All details for my projects will be found here on my blog tomorrow.)

Until next time...happy crafting!
