My Pink Designer Post

Hi Everyone!  I hope you're having a nice week so far.  Today is My Pink Designer Post day!  This month our challenge was...

Theme: How many can you use???!!!!
Use as many My Pink Stamper stamps from any set(s) on ONE project. It can be a card, scrapbook page or mini book. Let's see who can use the most stamps!

I have to say...best challenge EVER!  I had so much fun with this and immediately knew what I wanted to make.  I've had this idea for awhile now, so this gave me the perfect motivation to create it. :)  I must warn you though, there are a lot of pictures and details to this project, so I apologize if my post is long. I used eleven My Pink Stamper sets for my book.

A little background:  When I was a little girl, I used to attend AWANA (which was a wonderful children's program at church). During our singing time, there was always one song that was my favorite....maybe it was because of my own situation of being in a wheelchair, but I loved the idea that we are all created special.  Each time it played, I would sing my little heart out.  It was called "The Butterfly Song".   Here is the link if you'd like to hear it...
So, I decided to make a mini children's book.  The words to each part of the song are in pockets between the pages, and then I found the perfect My Pink Stamper sentiments to go with each page.

A Valentine's Day card...

I made this card earlier this week and thought I'd take a minute to share it with you. It was SUPER simple to make.  I didn't use the Cricut at all for this one.  Just a paper doily I found at our local craft store (pack of 35 of them for $1.99).  And of course, a My Pink Stamper sentiment...because no card is complete without one of those!

Lots of paper tearing on this one!  It's a little more elegant than my usual projects, but I like to change things up once in awhile. :)

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Hello!  Do you know what today is? It's the second Friday of the month, which means - time for another My Pinkalicious Blog Hop!  If you're coming from the lovely Sharon's blog, then you are in the right spot!  And if you just happened to stop by today for a visit, be sure to go back to My Pink Stamper, so you can see all of the fun projects my Design Team friends have created!

Our challenge for this month was as follows:

Use the color red, a circle, a pink ribbon, and MORE THAN ONE My Pink Stamper stamp.

For my project, I used two My Pink Stamper sets - "Biggie Punnies" and "From the Heart".

Biggie Punnies:

From the Heart:

Aren't they awesome?!  Both sets are 6x8 and have nice large sentiments.  I just love them both!  If you'd like a set of your own, you can find them at these online retailers.

Okay, so on to my project.  As much as I love making cards, I'm more of a scrapbooker by heart.  So, I decided to make a scrapbook page.  I hope you like it.

Two My Pink Stamper sentiments to make the wooden sign. (which I designed freehand).

And did you catch where the circle (or should I say CIRCLES) are on my layout?

I cut four 1" circles out of black cardstock, punctured a hole in each one and then inserted a white jumbo brad in the center.

Then, I found this sticker set in my stash.

See the polka dot strip? It matched perfectly to the other colors in my layout, so I punched four little hearts out of it, and placed them on my layout...one on each white brad.  This is also a great way to use up some of those older stickers in your stash!

George & Basic Shapes - circles - 4 @ 1"
Create a Critter Cartridge - Tree Limb cut at 5" (fit to length feature turned on); Owls - blue @ 3" and pink at 2 1/2"

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Your next stop on the hop is my friend Tracy.  Have fun and please be sure to go back to My Pink Stamper when you are finished hopping and play along in the challenge with us.

And just in case you missed anyone along the way, here is the entire list again.

See you again very soon! :)
