My Pink Stamper Blog Hop - June

Hello and welcome to the My Pink Stamper blog hop for June!  If you're coming from my friend June's blog, then you are in the right place!  If you happen to just be stopping by today, please go to My Pink Stamper and start from the beginning.  You will not want to miss any of these great projects and there is an awesome kit giveaway to one lucky winner! :)

I can't tell you how excited I am about this release!!  The new Yankee Doodle stamp set is sooo cute and PERFECT for upcoming projects for the 4th of July!

And  the best part? It comes as part of a wonderful kit from Pumpkin Spice! (Kits go on sale at 12:00 PM Central time today. Please don't wait to order - they will go fast!)

And an awesome new My Pink Stamper Ink pad (which I LOVE!)

Okay, on to today's project!   I went to my local Dollar Store to see if anything "inspired" me.  And I found these:

Aren't they cute?  What child (or adult for that matter!) doesn't love playing with bubbles!  And they make for some super fun pictures at upcoming parties, barbeques and picnics!
A little patterned paper and some ribbon were added to the centers of each bottle.  Then, I placed them in a bag and added the topper. (sorry, the bag gives a bit of a glare in my photos.)

Now, to be  totally honest, I really didn't like my project at this point.  As much as I loved the cute stamps, I found the images appeared a little flat against the white background. So, I took a Copic marker (BG000 - Pale Aqua) and went around each image and sentiment to add a little dimension to them.

NOW, I love it.  And I hope you like it too. :)

Your next stop on the hop is my friend Renee.

And in case you've missed anyone along the way, here is the list again.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Great job on the topper and the bottles. I love how you colored around each image with light blue, it really makes the stamps pop. I'm going to use that technique, thanks for sharing!
