Card alert!

I'm so excited - I actually created something today!! :)  Here is a card made using the My Pink Stamper Yummy-licious stamp set as well as the Cricut Lite Bloom cartridge. 

This stamp set is so versatile.  Although it has alot of expressions when giving someone a yummy treat, it also has some great everyday sayings such as "welcome", "for you", "from the heart", and many more.  For my card, I stamped the "for you" sentiment several times...all they way down one side to create a fun border.

And a close-up of the flowers in the vase.  As most of you probably know by now, I love adding little "extras" to my Cricut cuts.  For this I added the two little pink strips on the vase as well as the heart.  I also used paper glaze on those elements as well as the centers of each flower.

The vase with flowers was cut at 4 1/2".  I also traced around each part using my Bic Mark-It markers...just to give everything a bit more dimension.  Then, I added it to my card using pop dots.

Paper is by Echo Park.  Have I mentioned how much I LOOVE their papers??!  Such adorable patterns and they are two sided!

My Pink Designer Post

Hi Everyone and welcome to August's My Pink Designer Post. Today, I have a project featuring the new My Pink Stamper Spook-alicious stamps. Here is a little peek at what this awesome set looks like:

Okay, on with today's project! I found this house shaped book in my stash and decided to use it for my project. Then, I pulled out my favorite Halloween Cricut cartridge of all time, "Mini Monsters" and went to work.  Be prepared...lots of pictures to follow! :)

Front Cover of book:

The spiders are from the My Pink Stamper Spook-alicious stamp set. I stamped each one on white paper and then cut around them (leaving just the slightest white border to allow them to stand out against my background). I also cut out two fences and adhered them in one continuous strip. Then I added glossy accents over it to give it a bit more of a 3D look. The door and shutters I created myself.   Border punch by Fiskars.

Pages 1 and 2:

And a close up of Mr. Vampire.  If you wanted to, you could allow these cards to open to reveal journaling...or maybe tuck a tag in behind. 

Vampire cut at 4".  Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch used for border.  Because the cuts were so tiny, I also cheated a bit and used a white pen to color in his fangs.

Pages 3 and  4:

Cauldron cut at 4".  Border punch:  EK Success  ( I wanted it to look like a page from a spell book).  Stars: Ek Success Paper Shaper punch.

Pages 5 and 6:

Witch's hat cut at 4".  EK Success border punch and Paper Shaper punch (stars).

Pages 7 and 8:

 Pumpkin cut at 4".  Fiskars border punch for photo mat.

Pages 9 and 10:

Isn't that spider just sooo adorable??  And the sentiment works perfectly with it!  I can see a card being made very soon with this same combo! :)

My Pink Stamper Pinkalicous Blog Hop

Hi, my name Shelley.  I live in Columbus, GA with my husband and our two very spoiled dogs, Bailey and Muffin.  I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years now and enjoy every minute of it!  I am so thankful, honored (and excited!! :)  to have been asked to serve another term on the My Pink Stamper Design Team!

Now, on to today's project!

For this layout, I used two of Robyn's latest releases.  For the "Bath Time" title, I used the My Pink Stamper Fontabulous set.  The "Just add water..." can be found on the My Pink Stamper Yummylicious set.   Both sets (and more!) can be purchased at these online retailers.

I only used one cartridge for this layout ... New Arrival.

It's hard to see in the picture, but the bathtub has a TON of rhinestones on it.  I used my iRock tool and really blinged it up! :)

I LOVE that Robyn came out with an alphabet stamp set!  Now we can make any title we choose!! :)

And finally, a close up of the rubber ducks.  I added a little extra dimension myself by giving each duck a 3D wing (heart punch cut in half, then added pop dots under each one).
