Welcome to June's My Pink Stamper Design Team Post! Can you believe it's been six months already? The time has gone by far too quickly. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity and have enjoyed every second of it! A huge thank you to Robyn, Maria and all my Design Team friends for making this such a wonderful experience! xo
Our theme for this month was "Bright and Fun". Today I have a great gift idea for you. For all the sentiments, I used the My Pink Stamper "Fruit & Veggie Puns" which can be found here.
What I decided to make was a four card gift set with a fruit theme. And although I'm not much of a baker, I did have an idea I would like to share with you...
How fun would it be to include with each card a recipe to go along with it?! For example, the "Apple of my eye card" could contain a recipe for Apple Pie. The "A Cherry Hello" card - a recipe for Cherry Cheesecake. Lemon card - Lemon Meringue Pie. (my personal favorite. LOL!) This would be a fun gift for a friend, the host of a summer time party... or even a housewarming gift. Just put your cards and recipes in a cute little gift box and tie with a pretty bow.
Here are the cards I created. I hope you like them. :)

I am sorry I'm a little late in posting the blog hop winner. Last week I was helping with getting things ready for Vacation Bible School at our church. Our theme this year is called Pandamania and so far it's been awesome.
Last night was our first night of VBS and the children learned the cutest song. I'll post a little link for those of you who may like to hear it. But let me warn you in advance...it's one of those catchy tunes that once you hear it, you'll be singing it all day! At least that's what happened to me. :)
Today is the day! It's time once again for the Pinkalicious Blog Hop! Our theme for this month is "All About Summer". How fun is that?!
I planned on doing a beach themed layout, but when I went to Michael's last week, something else caught my eye in the unfinished wood section - a bird house in the shape of a castle. My first thought was..."I wonder if I could turn this into a sandcastle?? Since it was only $5 and they only had one left, I decided to give it a try.
Here is how it turned out:

The little flags I made myself. I used toothpicks for the pole part. All sentiments are My Pink Stamper stamps which can be purchased here.
One thing to mention: I made this purely as a decoration for my craft room. If you do plan on using it outside, you may want to modpodge your diecuts before adding them to your castle. This will *hopefully* make them more water proof.
And in case you would like to make this for a friend, you may like a cute card to go with it.

Just a quick reminder of the Pinkalicious Blog Hop tonight starting at 8 p.m. Central. I just finished my post and can't wait to share my project with you. I also have a super fun giveaway so I hope you can find the time to stop by.
Oh, and speaking of giveaways...
If you haven't already, be sure to enter the drawing for an issue of Scrapbook Creations. I'll be drawing the lucky winner's name tomorrow. This is one of my favorite magazines! To enter, just leave a comment underthis post. And please be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you win. There are only two people who have entered so far, so your chances are great! :)
Today no matter how hard I tried, I just could not get motivated to create something new. BUT, I do have something to share with you. I made this for a card swap I participated in. We were asked to create a card using a monochromatic color scheme.
I don't typically make my projects in monochromatic colors, so this was a bit challenging to me. But when I decided I wanted to use that cute loveable Cricut bug...well the rest just fell into place. :)
I used the My Pink Stamper "Buggy Punnies" set for the sentiment on the front. And since we usually sign the backs of our cards, I thought it would be cute to add one more sentiment from this set:
SQUISH = Hugs so I thought that would be cute and funny, all at the same time.
Now, all that said, you probably want to actually SEE the card. lol Here it is. I hope you like it!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope to see you tomorrow night (at 8 p.m. Central) for the My Pink Stamper Blog Hop! It's going to be lots of fun!! :)
I intended on posting another project today. But since it goes well with what I made for the blog hop, I think I'll save it until Friday to post. :) I hope that is okay with everyone.
I am soooo excited for this coming Blog Hop! You all are going to love this month's theme! I can't wait to show you what I've made...but even more - to see what the other designers have created!!
Tomorrow we have a Ladies Fellowship at our church. I am really looking forward to it. We're going to be doing devotionals from a book called "Having a Martha Spirit". We're only into the first few chapters, but so far it looks like a wonderful book.
Have a great night everyone! If I can find the time tomorrow, I'll try to create something new to share.
Happy Tuesday! Here is a super simple card I put together yesterday. I hope you like it. For this one, I used the new My Pink Stamper "Invitation Only" set. Here is a look in case you haven't see it yet. It's great for those who love to host parties...or even if you just enjoy get togethers with a few friends.
**Playing cards are cut out of a piece of patterned paper.**
Be sure to stop by tomorrow. I have something extra cute that I can't WAIT to share with you!! :) I really hope you like it as much as I do.
Oh, and just a quick reminder: This Friday night starting at 8 p.m. (Central) is the My Pink Stamper Blog Hop for June! Hope to see you there! :)
I'm back with a new project to share. This card features one of the new My Pink Stamper sets called "Spectacular Sayings". Here is a picture so you can see all the fun sayings it has on it! :)
And in case you'd like to order a set, here is a list of online retailers that carry it (along with many other fun My Pink Stamper goodies!)
The "Hello!" sentiment on this set really inspired me. I decided to use the phone from the "From My Kitchen" Cricut cartridge. But I wanted to jazz it up a little. So, let me show you what I decided to do.
(click on pictures for larger images)
First, in the handbook, the phone does not actually have circles for the numbers on the phone.. I wanted to add a bit more detail, so I made the little black circles using a punch. Then, for a little added dimension (and to make them look like true buttons you would press), I put a dab of Glossy Accents over each circle.
Since I loved the polka dot paper, I also carried it to the the inside of the card. I thought it made a cute border.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Now that I'm able to access my blog again, I'm sure you'll be seeing alot more of me! (or at least many more new projects). :)
I'm guessing there must have been a full moon every night during May because what a CRAZY month it was!! A part on our air conditioner broke; I developed hives and a very swollen face (which I'm now thinking may have been attributed to the change in temperature here in Georgia). Then, to top it off...I was locked out of my blog!
Thankfully, we were able to get the air conditioner issue resolved. And my awesome hubby was able to find a way to allow me access to my blog again. I even got a new cushion for my wheelchair (which I had waited MONTHS for)!! So, all in all, the month ended well. And I'm ready to get back in the swing of things and share some new projects with you. I'm just so sorry for my absence!
BUT, I would like to make it up to you with a little giveaway. I decided to get a subscription to an awesome magazine, but I already own the first issue they sent to me. So, I would like to offer this to one of you. The magazine is called Scrapbook Creations (based in Australia). It's a wonderful publication with tons of great projects as well as lots of helpful tips and other fun things.
If you'd like to be entered, leave a comment on THIS post with a way for me to contact you. I'll draw a winner this Saturday. The winner will have one week to contact me with their name and address.
Have a great day and stay tuned...I have a project to share using one of the new My Pink Stamper sets! :))
**Please note: This giveaway is for one issue only. It isnot a subscription. I think there may have been a little confusion about that so I wanted to clarify. Good luck! :) **
