4 more days!

Can you believe it?  Only four more days until Christmas!  So do all of you have your shopping done?

Let me start with a quick reminder that Robyn (My Pink Stamper) is having her 12 Days of Christmas celebration.  Lots of AWESOME videos by Robyn and some of my design team friends, challenges and also PRIZES to be won! And while you're there, grab the My Pink Stamper 12 Days of Christmas button for YOUR blog or FB page.  Santa's elves are watching and you could win a prize!

I haven't really updated in awhile, so let me tell you what's been going on here.  First, my husband and I have some family members with health issues.  So, we're in the midst of planning a trip home for 2012.

Also this month, I had the opportunity to participate in a Christmas Workshop with the children of our church.  It was soooo much fun!! It was for children ages 5 to 5th grade and what cuties they are!!  I prepped 60 cards for the event so there was alot of cutting and stamping. Luckily I had my trusty Cricut and my awesome My Pink Stamper stamps to make the task a little easier. :)  For these cards I used two My Pink Stamper sets:  "Faithful Sayings" and also the "More Faithful Sayings". Both sets can be purchased here.  There are some fabulous sentiments on both that work perfectly for Christmas projects!

Please ignore the "Dell".  I couldn't find my card easel at the time. LOL

And as much as they loved the cards they made, the main "hit" was actually this...
The children LOVED playing "crash up derby" with it and rolling it off the side of the table.  But, I'm happy to report that, although my Brayer was probably a little traumatized from the experience, it is still in one piece. LOL

Have a great day! :)

Day 3!

Today is Day 3 of the My Pink Stamper's 12 Days of Christmas celebration!  Are you all joining in and having fun?  When you visit, be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win some great prizes.

Oh, and don't forget to put this adorable blog button on  YOUR blog and/or Facebook page for a very special drawing.  The Secret Elves are watching. :)

I feel pretty! Oh so pretty! LOL

Okay, not really....but I do LOVE this shirt that my Mom & Dad bought me for Christmas.

I know - I wasn't supposed to open it before Christmas.  But when a nice big parcel comes to your door, it's hard to resist!  To be honest, I've been that way since I was a little girl.  Mom & Dad would always have to hide my presents downstairs because I was such a snoop! :)  I guess some things never change.

So why am I telling you all this? Because my parents bought my shirt at one of my favorite clothing stores in Canada called Reitmans.  And I just found out that they now have online shopping! And the BEST part?  They now offer shipping to the U.S.!  Yay!

Happy shopping! :)

P.S.  We also got a shiny new stainless steel electric can opener. You think maybe I can expect coal next year for opening my gifts early?

Christmas Card and other news...

First, let me give a shout out to the best Dad EVER on his special day!  Happy Birthday, Dad!  I love you!! xo

Guess what?  Only 23 more days until Christmas!  I have to admit, even after all these years of living in Georgia, I am still a Canadian girl at heart.  And it still seems odd to me to not have snow for Christmas.  But I have to say, seeing the beautiful Christmas lights everywhere is really putting me in the holiday spirit.  Now, if we could only get our OWN tree put up! :)

Last week one of the children in our neighborhood tried to help us out by making our house look more "festive".  They decided to use our garage as target practice for some lovely paint balls.  And a nicer shade of green they could not find. (can you detect the sarcasm here? LOL)  Hubby and I managed to get it washed off, so all is well.

In other news...

You may notice that some pictures are missing from my blog.  That is because I'm being published for the very first time! :)  I promise I'll be putting the pictures back just as soon as I possibly can.  Until then, you can look for my projects in the upcoming April and May 2012 issues of Cricut Magazine.

I have one other thing to share, but I'm going to wait a bit on that.  ;-)

So, on with today's project.  Recently, I participated in a Christmas/Holiday card swap.  And the cards we got back were sooo cute!  This is the one I created for it.  I used the My Pink Stamper Biggie Christmas set for it.

The snowman is from the Snow Friends Seasonal Cartridge.  Isn't he adorable?  I just love him with his cute little earmuffs and mittens!

Have a great weekend!
