Hi Everyone and welcome to the Pinkalicious blog hop for October! If you're coming from Chelle (Paper Krate)'s blog, then you're in the right place!
For this month's challenge we were asked to make a treat or goody bag using our Cricut and either the My Pink Stamper's Sweet Goodness or Yummy-licious set. (shape and theme of gift bag was our choice).
I found a jar candle at Walmart for about $5. It's called Spiced Pumpkin Pie and smells amazing!! So, I decided to go with a fall theme and incorporate a pumpkin pie into the design of my gift bag.
And a close-up so you can see everything a bit better. I love how the sentiments found on the My Pink Stamper Yummy-licious set worked perfectly for this project. If you'd like to order a set of your own, you can order from any of these online retailers.
To make the pumpkins, you will need three ovals. Slightly overlap two of them side by side and then add the third oval to the center. (I outlined each of my ovals with my marker before adhering anything together - just to give them a bit more definition). The stems were cut freehand.
Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge (sunflowers cut at 1 1/4 and 2")
From My Kitchen cartridge (pie cut at 3")
Ovals for pumpkins (2 & 2 1/2")
Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch
Zig Writer for dots in center of sunflower
Versafine Ink Pad in Onyx Black
Patterned Paper bought at Hobby Lobby (Paper Studio brand, I think)
EK Success Paper Shaper Punch - for "slits" on pie
