Monster Bash?

In case any of you might be planning a halloween party, I thought it might be fun to make some invites for the occasion.  These will fit into your standard A2 size (invitation) envelopes.

To make the base of each card:

Cut one piece of cardstock that is 4 1/4 x 12".  On the side that is 12" long, punch your border for the flap.  Once you have done that, cut down the 12" side to 7 1/2".  You should now have a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 7 1/2".  On the 7 1/2" side, score at the 2" mark (including the border).  Fold over.  You now have your flap.  Decorate as desired.

I glued mine down, but if you'd prefer, you can make your flap into a pocket and put it on the bottom.  Then, you can tuck your paper with the party invitation inside.  That way, the recipient can remove the information portion and put it on their fridge as a reminder.
