My Pink Stamper Design Team Post

Hello and welcome to April's My Pink Stamper Design Team Post.  This time the theme of our project was any kind of favors.  I decided to use the My Pink Stamper Sport-tastic set which looks like this:

Aren't these sentiments fun?  In case you'd like to purchase a set (there are lots of others to choose from too), you can click here for a list of online retailers.

My project...perfect for a little boy who may be wanting a baseball themed birthday party.  Or, for some avid baseball fans who love to host parties while watching the game together.

(Click on any photo for a larger image)

1.  I used a box that I had on hand to put all the yummy goodies in.

Because my box had four sections inside, those had to be cut out.

As you can see, I wasn't fussy about how the inside looked since it would all be covered anyway.

Adhere patterned paper around your box as shown.

Next,  I used a punch for the upper and lower borders on my box.

Aren't the loops cute??  They make me think of shoe laces in sneakers.  Next, a very thin strip of blue was added to give the border a bit more "pop".

I re-purposed some red shredded paper from another gift basket.

The baseball glove was made using the Boys Will be Boys Cricut cartridge.  Detailing  was added using a white pen.  Then, I stamped the cute sentiment and added it to my basket (using a pop dot for a bit of dimension).

And the finished project again:

Boys Will be Boys Cricut cartridge
Martha Stewart Loopy Border Punch
Bazzill Cardstock
Patterned Paper by Scrappin' Sports & More ((#1255 Baseballs)
Uniball Signo White Pen
Versafine Ink in Onyx Black

Thanks for stopping by!  And please be sure to drop by The My Pink Stamper website to see all of the fun things made for this challenge.   Have a great day! :-)

The Goody Box reminds me of the song "Take Me Out To the Ballgame". My grandfather loved to go to the local games, and Cracker Jacks were always along too. Great project! TFS.

I love how you took a plain box and recycled it into something wonderful!! My boys would be THRILLED to get something like this!! I also really like how you bent the phrase before you stamped it. You really did hit a home run with this one!! XOXO, Julie. :0)
