Here is my new Halloween project! This layout was inspired by a cute "witch parking" sign that I found online. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out and hope you like it too. MUCH of it is 3 D. I started with popping up the fence, then the pumpkins were pop dotted on top of that...and then last, the toads were pop dotted on top of the pumpkins. So, this layout has LOTS of layers!
I did not make a video for this one....mainly because there was so much detail that it would have taken forever to film (not to mention upload to YouTube!) And, I'm sure you all probably don't have the time to watch a four or five part video anyway! But I promise I'll have some more video projects for you real soon!
One thing I'd like to note: The "Best witches to you" sign was made using My Pink Stamper stamps. They come in a wide assortment of topics and each of them go along with your Cricut cartridges perfectly. I want to state that I only know Robyn through her website and I am receiving no compensation from telling you all about her website. But I have learned alot from watching her great video tutorials and I think it's important to pass this info along to you, so you can enjoy what she has to offer too!
If you are interested in her stamps or DVD tutorials, just follow this link, then choose the "product" tab at the top of the page.
And now....on with the show!
The entire layout:
Page 2 (sorry...not as clear. I tried several times...all to no avail.)
Close up of Owl & Spider:
**Owl has 3 D googly eyes...hard to see in the picture.
Close up of toad and sign on page 1. (I did goof and put an "s" on toad on my sign...but if you won't tell, then neither will I. ;o)
Pumpkins were made using three ovals. Slightly overlap two of them. Then the third is added to the center using pop dots/dimensionals. If you have any problems with this, please let me know and I will be more than happy to do a video tutorial for you.
