Another card...

There have been a few requests for some Mother's Day card ideas. I looked through my stash and could not find one single stamp that said Happy Mother's Day on it. And since hubby and I already sent off our cards to our Mothers, I decided to do something a bit different.

I have a very dear friend who is serving overseas right now in the Air Force. So, I decided to make this a Miss You card instead for her. But, I think the overall design would work perfectly as a Mother's Day card as well. Just change the sentiment and voila! :o)

Hope this provides you with a little inspiration! Until next time...

Would you be interested in this?

After seeing some of my work that I have done for our local scrapbook store, I've gotten several requests from members concerning wanting to purchase a kit (or class instructions). So, I am trying to find out what the majority of you think about this and whether or not there'd be an interest.

Please know that I will still be offering free projects here with directions. That will not change. This will just be in addition to that.

I'm going to post a poll on the side and I would appreciate your feedback. Or, if you prefer, you can send me an email or leave a comment below this post.

Thanks and have a great day! :o)

Giveaway time!

How about a few little giveaways? Unfortunately, these are not scrapbooking items, but I hope you like them anyway. :o) I absolutely LOVE costume/fashion jewelry! And the first three pictures will show you these super cute earrings I found in one of our local stores. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until I got home, that these are clip-ons, which I cannot wear.

Citrine colored stones (they're much more sparkly in person...just my lack of photography skills here I'm afraid! ;o) Amethyst/Purple colored stones:

And red/garnet colored stones:

And one other pair I thought was cute. These are the french wire type (the card they were sold on says they are clip earrings, but they are not) . Look at the pretty flower in the center!

If you'd like to win a pair, simply leave a comment under this post and be sure to include a way for me to contact you! (U.S. & Canada addresses only please!) I'll draw a winner next Friday. Please note that if you win, I cannot guarantee which pair you will receive.

Have a great weekend everyone! :o)

Do you like to stamp?

If so, I have a product that I would love to tell you about!! Maybe you already use this, but in case not, I thought I'd share.

For all of the cards pictured below, I use my Versafine ink pad by Tsukineko. It gives such a nice clean, crisp image each time. I absolutely love mine and I highly recommend it if you haven't already tried it! I use only one color: the Onyx Black. I chose this particular color because of the versatility of it.

This is what it looks like for anyone who might be interested:

Have a great day everyone! :o)

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Robyn (a.k.a.) My Pink Stamper issued a challenge where participants were asked to make a project using their Cricut and also the colors pink, green and black. Here is what I came up with. I threw in a little blue as I thought it would be really cute to have "Ms. Hippo" splashing in the water.

Thanks for looking! :-)

How about a little card inspiration?

I set up this blog with the intention of showing primarily layout inspiration, but this past week I made some card toppers that I just HAVE to share! They can also be used as cards for journaling, tags, or just as an embellishment for your scrapbook page. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. I hope you like them too.

All of these were created with the "Create-a-Critter cartridge (with the exception of the cherry one and the bee card. For the cherry card, I used "Hello Kitty Greetings". For the bee card, I used "Paisley"). The majority of the sentiments are from a stamp set by Technique Tuesday called "Dog & Pony Sentiments". The other sentiments were Hampton Arts $1 ones that I had in my stash.

Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend everyone!! :o)
