Thoughtful Branches

Hello friends!  I'm sorry I've been missing for awhile.  Not long after my last post, my hubby and I went out of town for our anniversary.  And I came home with a broken leg!  Even though I've been in a wheelchair my entire life,  I'm still pretty independent.  But once in awhile I fall.  And that is what happened during the second to last day of our trip.

So, the last several months have involved surgery and recuperating.

But, I'm back now and ready to share some exciting things with you.

First, Stampin' Up! has a new Paper Pumpkin promotion until October 10th, 2016.  Any new subscriber pays for the first month and the second month is FREE!  In case you haven't heard of Paper Pumpkin, it's a wonderful monthly kit.  For $19.95 per month (shipping included) you get everything you need to make the projects.  The projects vary from month to month and it's always a surprise.

If you'd like to subscribe (or get more info), please go here.

For my project today, I used a GORGEOUS new bundle called "Thoughtful Branches".  This is only available  until August 31 - or while supplies last.  You can also buy the stamps and dies separately.  Folks, I love this set.  Love, love, LOVE!!!!  I will be sharing more projects with it in the coming days.  Here is the card for today.  I love all the beautiful colors in the leaves and it's making me really look forward to fall.

Hello!

I'm back after a super exciting April!  I'll fill you in on all the details of that a bit later.  Today, I wanted to take a minute and share with you a card from my latest card class.  We actually made three cards on Saturday.  This one was my favorite.  There's just something about those soft colors and that beautiful glitter ribbon. (which I'm sad to say is retiring May 31st and is only available while supplies last).  Boo to that!  But I've seen the new catalog and you are going to LOVE the new products coming out.  So Yay!  to that. lol

If you are one of my current customers, your new annual 2016-2017 catalog has been ordered for you and you should receive it this month.  June 1st is the first day you can order from it.  BUT, if you're interested in joining my team as either a career or hobby demonstrator, you can order from it NOW!  Contact me to find out how! I would love to have you on my team!

Okay, on with today's card.  I hope you like it.  I just love how it turned out.

Happy Spring!

Can you believe it's almost time for spring?  I am so excited! It is over 70 degrees here today and the nice weather just makes me so happy!

I am so sorry I've been away from blogging for so long.  It's been such a busy several months!  But I'm back and plan on updating my blog from now on regularly.

Let me fill you in on what's been going on.  First, my parents came to visit us for Christmas for the first time since we moved to Georgia.  It was so wonderful spending time with them.

I've also been teaching classes at our home each month.  It has been lots of fun!  We usually eat a little too. ;)  My sweet friend Elizabeth always brings something for us all to share.   She's a really great cook.

This has been my contribution.  It's a recipe for salsa dip that my Mom gave to me.  Everyone seemed to like it and no one got food poisoning.  So, to me that's a success in itself! lol

Let me know if you'd like the recipe.  It's super easy and great for parties!

We bought some 8 foot tables and hubby was sweet enough to move our furniture around so I could hold my class in our living room.  I absolutely LOVE the set up and I can get to anyone I need to help easily,  even with my wheelchair.

And since it's been SO LONG since I've posted, let me show you some of the projects we've made over the last several months.

One of my Christmas card classes:

Valentine card class:

and one masculine card which I think was everyone's favorite...

And finally, a few of my favorites from last month's card class:

The little chick from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set is just so stinkin' cute!!  This stamp set is free with a $50 purchase but only until March 31st!!

The Picture Perfect stamp set is another one of my new favorites.  Just look at that gorgeous rose!  And it's so easy to create using this set!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I will be back soon with more things to share. But before I go, I think it may be time for a GIVEAWAY!  What do y'all think about that? :)

Leave a comment on this post (with a way for me to contact you if you win.  I will randomly draw a winner who will get this awesome Sale-A-Bration stamp set.

My favorite things

Two posts in one day!  Can you believe it? :)

I wanted to take a few minutes and talk about a couple of questions I hear quite often.

"What are your favorite Stampin' Up products?"

and

"What kind of products would you recommend for someone wanting to start crafting but are not sure where to begin?"

And so, I put together a list of my favorite products below.

Watercolor Wishes Card Kit - This kit is PERFECT if you're new to crafting.  Everything that you could possibly need is included in this kit - including a fantastic stamp set.  The only thing you may want to have is some liquid glue for the wood embellishments.  Other than that, the kit is all inclusive and has colored step by step instructions included.  Makes 20 cards and also includes envelopes.

Favorite Image Stamp Sets
- "Butterfly Basics" and "Awesomely Artistic".  If you've followed my blog for awhile, you know that most of my work is kind of "cutesy".  I've always loved fun happy images.  But there is something so beautiful and elegant about the images on these sets.  I absolutely love both of them.

Favorite Image Stamp Set
- tons of great versatile sentiments.  I use this set all the time.

Stamp Scrubber
- I honestly don't know how I ever crafted without this.  For years, I was using baby wipes to clean my stamps.  After using the Stamp Scrubber once, I was hooked.  It just makes things SO much easier!  And the Stampin' Mist smells incredible.  It kind of has a very light floral scent.  Not overpowering at all.  Since I had a spray bottle at home, I just bought the Stampin' Mist refill and use that -works like a charm!

Envelope Punch Board - Even if you're not into card making, I highly recommend this product.  It is also great to make little envelopes for your planner, journal, etc.  And it's easy and fun to use!  There are a ton of ideas on youtube for this great product.

Paper Trimmer - something I truly believe every crafter should have.  It just makes creating your projects so much easier.  And this trimmer has a lot of great features such as a safety lock and also a scoring blade.

Whisper White Cardstock - another staple when it comes to card making.  Great for card bases and also perfect for stamping.

Hope you found this list helpful.  If there's anything that you think you may be interested in, all of the products are listed below.  Just click on any picture and it will take you directly to my shopping page.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and as always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at shelleylee34@yahoo.com.

Have a great weekend! :)

Big news!

I have two big announcements to share!

First, I created a 30/$30 board!

What is a 30/$30 board you might wonder?  Well, it's a fun way for my one of my customers to win some FREE Stampin' Up product!  For every $30 or more order (before tax and shipping), be sure to  email me at shelleylee34@yahoo.com.  I will have you choose a number between 1-30 and will write your name on the board.  When the entire board is filled, I will do a drawing.  The name written beside the number I choose will win $30 of Stampin' Up product FREE.

So, for a $30 + order, your name will be entered once.  For a $60 or more order, your name goes on the board TWICE.  And so on.

A few things to note:

*Free product must be chosen from the current Stampin' Up catalog.
*Clearance merchandise does not count toward free product.
*Past orders do not count toward this promotion.
*$30 orders must be BEFORE tax and shipping
*Free product must be ordered directly through me.
*No hostess only sets, class fees or stamp clubs will qualify for this promotion.
*$30 in free product must include tax and shipping.
*Any amount exceeding the $30 will be the responsibility of the winner.

And my second announcement? I'm having an online party!!  What does that mean for you?  Well, here's the info:

Place an order with me during my party and use the hostess code KPS4H9NN.  If the total party amount reaches $150 or more (before tax and shipping), then I will do a drawing and one of YOU will win the hostess rewards!  So place your order today for the chance to win!  The party will close on October 29, 2015 so all orders MUST be placed by then.

Have a great day everyone! :)

New Weekly Deals and Clearance Items

Hello!  Here are this week's deals and also the updated list of clearance items.  There are so many awesome things!  For example, if you love the Butterfly Basics stamp set as much as I do...and like me, if you don't already have the coordinating dies...they're on sale this week!  Yay!

And be sure to check out the Mini Bag Thinlits dies if you plan on making some little gifts for the trick or treaters in your life.

But my absolute favorites are found in the Clearance section.  First, hubby and I are planning on visiting Disney next year so I really love the Ticket Duo Punch.  And since I love my Erin Condren planner, the What's Up Punch with those cute arrows are also calling my name! (don't you think the top arrow also looks like a little house?  So many possibilities!)

Hope you all are having a great week!
