Project of Praise #1

Because my faith has always been something that's very important to me, I've decided to share a bit of that with you through my crafting.  And so, each week I will share one "Project of Praise" with you.

This technique is another way to use those pretty embossing folders that we all have in our stash.  All you do is ink one side of the embossing folder, put your paper inside, close it and rub over it until the ink transfers to the paper.  It's a simple technique with BEAUTIFUL results.  And depending on which side of the folder you ink, you can get two entirely different looks.

All of the products used are listed below.  Happy Sunday!  Be blessed and be a blessing!

Furry Friend Friday

Today I have some sad news to share.  This project is in honor of our sweet furbaby, Bailey, that we lost soon after my last post.  Bailey was 16 years old and dearly loved.  We're so thankful for the years we had him as part of our family - and we look foward to seeing him again someday at the Rainbow Bridge.

I hope you like today's project using the Bella and Friends stamp set.  If you are interested in any of the products I used, they are all listed below.

You probably also noticed that the name of my blog has changed. also works for now, but please make the change, so you won't miss any future posts. 😃

I'll be back soon with some EASTER cards to share.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Valentine Class

I just finished prepping for my local class tomorrow and thought I'd give you all a peek. We're making Valentine cards and will be doing some fun techniques like embossing.  And as always, I suspect there will be lots of inky fingers! 😀

Can you see what I did with the doilies?  I cut the inside out and used it on a separate card.  So, you can make TWO cards out of one doily!  This is a great way to stretch your supplies.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone & Happy New Year!

I am so excited to share with you all the new things going on with Stampin' Up!

The first being Sale-a-Bration!  I hope by now that all of you have received your new catalogs.  If you haven't, please let me know and I would be happy to send one to you.  Tomorrow starts the first day of Sale-a-Bration.  What does that mean?  For every $50 purchase, you will qualify for one free item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  There are TONS of cute things in there!

I have set up a hostess code for anyone who would like to place an order.  The hostess code is SU62CPVR.

As always, please only use this code if your order is less than $150 (before tax and shipping).  Otherwise, you will be your own hostess.

Sale-a-Bration is also a great time to consider joining my team.  You will get 20% off all your purchases and you never have to sell a thing if you don't want to. It really is an amazing deal.  Please contact me for more details if you're interested.

Also, today is the last day of our year-end closeout deals.  So, if there's still something on your wishlist from the holiday catalog, you may want to check that out as well.

I'll be back shortly with videos, giveaways, class info and other fun things.

It's going to be a great year and I can't wait to share it with you!!  Thank you for being such awesome customers and friends.

Halloween Fun - Day 2

I am having so much fun making Halloween projects.  Are you ready to see today's card?  It's another simple one but I think it's pretty "spooktacular".  I just recently bought the Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp (Item #141917) and I am loving how versatile it is.  Just wait until you see all I have planned with it!

My striped background has a bit of a "grunge" feel to it. That is exactly the look I was going for.  I used both Pear Pizzaz cardstock and ink to give it a tone on tone look.  The scary eyes and sentiment are again from the Jar of Haunts stamp set.

Be sure to come back tomorrow - I have lots more to share! Oh- and leave me a comment if you'd like to see some video tutorials or maybe even some Facebook live shows! (speaking of Facebook, if you're not already subscribed to my FB page, it's Shelley Lee Designs).  Come join us and please tell your friends!  Once I reach 100 followers over there, I will do a giveaway.
